Notifications and Alerts

Updated 30 July 2025

One of Superdone’s most powerful features is its flexible notification and alert system. These help keep you informed, on track, and ahead of risks across your projects.

There are two primary ways to set up notifications:

1. Standard Notification Setup

You can configure standard notifications on a per-project basis. To get started, open the project you'd like to manage and navigate to the Alerts tab. From here, you can choose from several built-in alert types, including:

  • Weekly Summary – A recap of recent activity

  • Vacation Mode – What you missed while you were away

  • The Week Ahead – What’s coming up

  • Project Drift – Alerts when your project is veering off course

  • Open Tasks – A summary of incomplete actions and todos

You can also create custom alerts, such as:

  • “Alert me when there’s a mention of the new API”

  • “Notify me when Bob Saunders joins a meeting”

2. Conversational Alerts with the Superdone Bot

If you prefer a more interactive approach, Superdone allows you to set alerts using natural language with the Superdone chatbot. You can do this either in Slack or within the Superdone app.

Examples:

  • /superdone Please notify me when any project is at risk

  • /superdone Notify me when requirements are added to the Q4 Marketing Automation project

You can set alerts across all projects or tailor them to specific ones.

Superdone notifications are designed to reduce noise and surface the information that matters most—helping you stay informed without being overwhelmed.
